Definition:

  • The ability to behave without causing embarrassment or attracting too much attention (Cambridge)
  • The ability to make responsible decisions (MW)

Vices:

  • Excess: Timidity, the unreasonable fear of embarrassment or risk
  • Deficiency: Rashness, the unreasonable lack of social restraint
