Definitions

  • Showing warm or hearty friendliness (M-W)
  • From Kardia, the Greek word for heart, meaning vitality and cheerfulness (Insight)

Vices

  • Excess: Over-eager, being energetic in solemn situations
  • Deficiency: coldness, being solemn in cheerful situations

Making an effort to be friendly despite feeling tired
