Definitions:

  • Being pleasant and at ease in talking to others (Merriam-Webster)
  • The quality of being easy to talk to (Vocabulary.com)
  • The ability to be friendly and open in social situations (EducationInVirtue)

Vices

  • Excess: flattery, the overuse of friendliness in social situations to a point of being insincere
  • Deficit: impoliteness, rudeness, the lack of friendliness in social situations.

Example:

Smiling warmly during small talk with your coworkers.
